SUMMARY:Kid's Marketplace
DESCRIPTION:We are looking for those kids ages 5-17 that like to create and invent new things and would like to sell them by creating their very own business.  We will be giving a Young Entrepreneurs class on July 6th or  July 17th to teach them how to create a business name\, design a sign or logo for their business\, develop a product\, establish fair pricing\, determine profitability\, and how to present and sell their product successfully.  There will be an indoor marketplace that we will provide a table for them to use to sell their product on July 29th from 11am-3pm. \nThis sale is for children to learn business\, so it is important that they make the product\, and sell it.  If you would like to invest in their business for start up materials that would be perfectly fine\, but they need to know what you invested so that they will be able to see their true profit at the end of the sale.  They can have a business partner to share a booth with\, but all workers at the booth must be the kids. \nThe Kids Marketplace is meant to help children realize the possibilities in owning your own business and build confidence in being able to accomplish success.  It’s possible there will be some similar products sold at the market\, but this will also give students a little understanding of competitive business and knowing how to give added value to stand apart from others. \nThere is a $15 booth fee to help with event advertising costs and the cost of the space.  Limited space available so be sure you reserve your booth space early.  You do not need to know your product before you sign up\, this will be part of the project.  Once all booths are sold we will not be able to add any more.  There will be shirts available for purchase as a participant of the event.

DESCRIPTION:All growing up\, my family has always enjoyed sitting around the table playing games.  We would play cards\, dice\, board games\, drawing games\, word games\, and even the occasional charades.  These family times created the best memories of my child hood.  The best part was that it did not cost anything and we always bonded as a family.  LEAP would like to bring back some opportunities to families to create the same.  Or\, maybe your family is one that does that regularly as well.  We want to invite all of you out to the Pavilion in Fairhaven on July 22nd at 6:30p to have a family game night.  We have a slew of family games\, you just bring your family out and have fun with us.  You might find some old classics that brings back memories of your childhood\, or might find new ones that you discover are a lot of fun.  You are even welcome to bring out one of your favorites to share if you’d like. \nWe are even going to wheel out the popcorn machine and and have free popcorn for ya’ll.  Hope to see you there. \nFairhaven Community Pavilion (other neighbors are welcome too)  915 Dubina\, Georgetown TX

DESCRIPTION:Calling all Young Entrepreneurs ages 5-18 who would like to learn how to start their own business.  This class is to teach the basics on how to start their own business\, from branding\, creating a product\, supply and demand\, pricing\, marketing\, and product presentation.  We are hosting our first Kids Market on July 29th where kids can then launch their business in a real live Marketplace and earn some money.  You are not required to attend this class to participate in the Kids Marketplace\, nor are you required to have a booth at the Marketplace to come to this class.  This is to inspire ideas\, creativity\, and harness some intuitiveness and leadership in our kids.  This class is completely free for all kids.
